Today Michigan Softball played their first game in the Championship
round of the World Series. It's a best of three series against UCLA. Jennie Ritter spent her
first three innings amassing strikeouts.

Remember that game the other day where Michigan was hitting the ball

and then getting out? Yeah, welcome back.

Coach Hutchins had a talk with Alessandra Giampaolo during one of her at bats and she blasted it the very next pitch

but UCLA grabbed and robbed her of the home run. Oh and Lady On Cell Phone
was broadcast nationwide talking on her phone and not really watching the game
In the sixth inning UCLA got two runs in.

And while Jennie Ritter was doing a great job and giving it her all,
theres only so many innings a person can pitch. Lorilyn Wilson came in, her first appearance in the
World Series

but UCLA kept scoring
and scoring
and scoring: five runs in all that inning
Michigan lost 5-0 in a game where they never had a runner
get to second base. Next game is tomorrow; if they lose, they go home.
