With no game to cover today, we went to go check out the Oklahoma City
National Memorial. On the way we saw this sculpture, which looks like a memorial to penne pasta.

Some Bank of America building.

Scott taking pictures like a true photog.

The memorial, this part being The Gates of Time.
The gates, to quote the visitor's guide, "frame the moment of destruction-9:02." 9:01 is supposed
to be the moment of innocence, and then 9:03 represents change and hope.

Pulled out the red filter and did some black and white photography too

On the 9:03 side of things they've got a fence where people leave
items of remembrance.

Ann Arbor street in Oklahoma, which we crossed twice.
We got ourselves geograpically confused on the way back from the memorial and drove
all over the place.
We spent probably an hour and a half driving around in the rental car
refinding our way back to the hotel. During this time we learned that Oklahoma City
has (no joke) at least seven Sonic's (the fast food place) and most of those have a 7-11
next to them.
