Christmas time has came and went and along with it Zooey's ability to be the Virgin Mary. In
honor of Christmas, The Beach House put out its annual Christmas newsletter, which you should go read. My photos will still be here when you get back.

I also took a Christmas photo for these festive folks over at Buttercup House
Santa wanders the streets of Ann Arbor one Sunday afternoon.
The Beach House goes to great lengths to also put on its Sparkling Seasonal Soiree
in which people they know dress up and come over.
Karen loves the Polaroids. In her photo at left you see Ciara pointing out
the sugar she's putting in the fudge. Last year she accidentally used salt. At right,
Demoree and I decorate the Beach House tree (which usually isn't up because Zooey would climb it)
A full evening's worth.
And now Christmas is over and it's back to the normal swing of things
