Meet Zooey, Karen's cat. I figured it was time I put up an album of photos (and video)
of her. Even though this means people googling my name off my photography resume will
find me posting pet photos, what better cat could there be to feature?
So anyhow, this is Zooey
Zooey wishes she could have french toast for dinner like cool people.
She plays a mean rubberband (see video below). There was a rubberband on the warped 20,000 pyramid game
we got at the thrift store and once someone brushed by it, she had to see where the noise was coming from.
There's something about warm dishes that fascinates her.
But what really gets Zooey is the outside. She's always liked looking outside, but until
the other day she had never been there. When we let her out with us on the porch, it was like
sensory overload for her. She was putting stuff in her mouth, audibly sniffing everything, and
rolling around under the porch swing (see video below)
A couple days later, we were out in the courtyard grilling and we could hear
Zooey meowing, hoping to get let out and come with us.
Low quality because it was with a point-and-shoot camera, but Zooey likes jumping for this
sock (top center of photo). She also likes attacking babies (as seen on Ciara's site) and chasing a laser pointer up a wall
Playing A.S.A.P.
I took photos for the Januzzi Watchmen CD cover that Demoree was designing (that was to include
a hot dog and a dollar sign in ketchup). Zooey was curious what all the fuss was about so she
jumped onto the chair I had been using to stand on.
While Zooey likes blanket forts, she likes destroying them equally well.
But above all, Zooey's favorite past time is biting the ones she loves.
