Karen and I hit Ann Arbor's Matthaei Botanical Gardens today

Karen in front one of the gardens near the greenhouse.

They had a bunch of events there today because it was earth day. Here a presenter holds a nine year old screech owl. They also had bubble-blowing stuff, singing, and booths for the kids.

There's a conservatorium in the area that has things like a small circle of orchids

After we checked out the conservatory and such, we decided to go downa walking trail. This pond was on the way to the trail. Four parents are simultaneously saying "get off there, you're going to fall and get wet"

The pond was full of frogs. This one looked kinda angry.

We took the 1.8 mile blue trail

Path.

Paths are exciting!

Somewhere far up ahead, I bet there was a crying kid.

Are these deer tracks?

After a couple hours at the Gardens, it was back to the Crows Nest to eat and run through photos.
